Follow the Tree Lighting Virtually from the Comfort of your Stockton Home
The tree lighting ceremonies held in Stockton and other cities across San Joaquin County help people recognize those who have impacted their lives through honorary or memorial light dedication. This year because of the social distancing and potentially unsafe conditions, the tree lighting events are held virtual so you can follow the proceeding from the safety of your home. The tree lighting is a noble exercise since the donations collected through the dedication lights support the programs for terminally ill patients run by the Hospice San Joaquin.
Other details about the event include:
- Memory boards are available with a list of the names of people honored by the lights.
- You can follow the virtual event and updates on the event's actual date through the hospice website or their official Facebook page.
- Tribute updates are made between 10th and 20th December and remain through the end of the year.
