Drying Carpets after a Water Leak

We do not use rotary machines on Berber carpets, preferring hot water extraction, multiple vacuum passes, and air movers to dry the carpet. Heavily soiled carpets may require additional treatments depending on the type of soiling.

Older carpets damaged by water may delaminate. The backing separates from the carpet fibers. These carpets may also be torn or coming apart at a seam. All these issues are discussed with the customer before we begin removing water and moisture after a water leak.
