SERVPRO of Stockton operates under its own authority. However, we regularly attend national training sessions with other SERVPRO operators to exchange notes and talk about ways to innovate our service. These sessions are rich in variety with presentations, mini-exams, in-depth discussions and updates on industry technology. Taking turns to share our experiences helps us to grow on both a local and national scale.
We stay ahead of the competition by keeping on top of changes and innovations across the industry. As a restoration provider, a big part of what we do is collaborate with third-parties like insurance adjusters. Staying in touch with legislative changes and strengthening our bonds with local associations like the Stockton Chamber of Commerce has helped us to achieve our goal. This year we have passed on feedback from our Large Loss teams on the events of Hurricane Michael, Californian wildfires and Hurricane Florence. Doing so ensures that we are always at the top of our game when disaster strikes.
We are still working hard to improve even though we already occupy a place in the top 100 of restoration and mitigation services. We are capable of performing California Legal Inspection and have shared the importance of this qualification to other franchise owners during training sessions. This year we have paid particular attention to reconstruction and strategic planning in response to the disasters experienced in California and the East Coast.
Restoring over replacing is easier said than done. When we find new and innovative ways to achieve this, we share it across all our franchise members and likewise they to us. By engaging in this practice, we can tackle damage in a way that is proven to be effective and make it "Like it never even happened."
