Toxic Black Mold
We hear a great deal about "toxic black mold". Most mold is black in color, yet only a few of these molds turn out to be the toxic variety known by its scientific name, Stachybotrys Chartarum. "Stachy" requires the perfect mold growing conditions to become a problem. long periods of moisture including elevated humidity in the air. It is thought that it takes about 21 days for "Stachy" colonies to form. What makes them a potential danger? It is the fact that the spores that the colony produces are very tiny and can get through our respiratory system into our blood stream.
As it turned out, this mold was identified as Stachybotrys Chartarum. SERVPRO of Stockton knows how to properly remove this mold.
